| My name is Dimitris Manatakis. I was born in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece in 1983, now I live and work in Athens.
I have been diving since 2008 and now I am an IANTD Nitrox diver.
I bought my first camera (a humble, second-hand Nikon S570 with Ikelite housing) back in 2011.
Since then we dive together almost every other weekend, along with Yiorgos, my dive-buddy. Instead of an external flash, I use a small torch.
Most of my diving excursions are around Athens, but I also had the chance to dive in Crete, Halkidiki, Corinth, Egypt, Djibouti, Seychelles and Kenya.
What I enjoy most in diving is being totally surrounded by water again (30 years after my mom's womb...)!
